My response to a hardline Catholic about the vice she complains rightly about.
Slattery: Endorsing vice over virtue

Regarding “Blowback in Indiana” by Rick Holmes (April 5) describing the beliefs of those who do not believe in legally endorsing same-sex sexual activity in all of its ramifications, as “striking a pose,” “posing as defenders of old-time religion,” shows a lack of true understanding.
Many people, especially parents of children in the public schools in the states defending the religious rights of citizens, were very concerned that the nature of acts of same-sex sexual activities are being endorsed as virtuous and are no longer to be thought of as acts of vice.
Those who believe these behaviors are acts of vice are wishing good will on our citizens and their young children. Yet, they are being bullied into silence by legal threats. Many foresee that there will be severe consequences of these legal actions to promote the growth of same-sex sexual activity as has been the goal of the Human Rights Campaign founded by Terrence Bean which receives millions of dollars from very wealthy companies whose CEOs are getting revenge on those who do not support the goals of the Human Rights Campaign. Evidently, they have not become aware of the founder and main fund-raiser, Terrence Bean, who has been legally charged and awaiting trial for his lustful activities including the charge of sex with a minor. The media has been very successful keeping this and other charges against him from the public.
It is for the wellbeing of society that many people do not want to have a vice endorsed as a virtue. There was a time when teachers in Massachusetts had to have letters of recommendation attesting to the belief they were not engaging in moral turpitude before they could be certified. They were expected to teach moral behavior, including chaste living, to our children. I suspect that if a teacher in the Framingham school system even mentioned that chaste living is the way children will best flourish, their job would be in jeopardy now that the Framingham Middle School has a program to help them learn to endorse the behavior of those who choose to engage in same-sex sex activities.
Why are we being prevented from wishing good will for our citizens and their children? If we didn’t love our neighbors, we wouldn’t care about helping them to see that chaste living is a virtue.

You people keep voting in liberal nutjobs on your school boards who have no morally direction what do you expect. When the Westboro Baptist Church came to Framingham to protest that sodomy play some years ago whose side were you on? http://m.metrowestdailynews.com/article/20101203/News/312039958
You probably hid fearing you would be called a hater. You Catholics did noting to protest that play. So don’t come now writing articles complaining. The Rizolis who go to no church supported the WBC.
The town of Framingham thanks to the liberals and Judiacs backing have become a sodomy town.
I’ve mentioned this before, once perversion becomes rooted it won’t leave. People living in California know it well, the Folsom St fair fiasco has people that used to be middle schoolers now they are full fledged sexual perverts. This will be the future of Framingham.
